Vanessa Warwick is an English former MTV presenter, notable for her eight-year spell as a video jockey from 1990 to 1997 inclusive. She was for a time during the 1990s married to musician Ricky Warwick, lead singer and guitarist with the Almighty. Vanessa Warwick now runs a London-based property business. ==MTV== Born Vanessa Young, she first joined MTV in 1988 on a temporary assignment at the broadcaster's Camden studios in London, eventually becoming a production assistant on the MTV rock show, "Metal Hammer" and then "Headbangers Ball",〔http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1119993/〕 where she became the show's assistant producer. In 1990, she replaced German VJ Kristiane Backer, having presented her first tour report - a review of a London Astoria performance by American band OverKill.
